After a break of more than a year, Vuyo Dabula is preparing to return to the entertainment world.
The actor, who was involved in an event involving gun violence in December 2022, took a pause to concentrate on his recovery.
He claimed to be totally recovered from his gunshot wound, having spent the majority of 2023 recovering.
“I’ve been working out a lot, and I’m feeling great right now. In addition, I’ve been concentrating on my mental and spiritual healing following that terrible near-death encounter.
The Generations: The Legacy actor claimed that he spent the previous year reflecting and taking care of himself.
The most satisfying aspect has been taking some alone time to reflect and sort things out, as well as getting back in touch with significant others.
“Having this time to solidify and anchor relationships has been invaluable, especially in the entertainment and film industry, which can be demanding.”

Dabula secured a prominent position in a SunBet commercial after his return. Since he hadn’t done an advertisement in a long, he claimed that this was an amazing experience for him.
He went on, “It’s funny because I began my career as a model in advertisements before deciding to pursue acting full-time.
“I played a cool evil guy in a film for ShowMax after the advertisement. He’s a kind man at first, but he turns nasty quickly.
Dabula stated that he hopes to maintain a healthy balance between his personal and professional lives going forward.
“I cherish my family, my relationships, and myself. I don’t want to overwork myself to the point of burnout or health problems. I make time for me and make sure to take care of significant relationships that uplift and support me.
“I can’t do my best work without my support network. I make sure not to have too much on my plate and I keep those close to me informed about my schedule on a regular basis.
