Biyela Vuyo
According to the Sibongile & the Dlaminis star, fatherhood should come first.
“I don’t question balance since I’m a father first and an actor second. I never fail to find time for my children, even with my hectic schedule. We enjoy playing educational board games when I’m not on call, and my daughter and I always cheer on my son at his football practices and games.
“Every night before going to bed, my daughter gives us live performances of singing and dancing, where everyone laughs a lot.”
Makayi Ayanda
Makayi, who is well-known for playing Stokie on Gqeberha: The Empire, claimed that it is difficult to balance his work and personal obligations because he lives far away from his child.
He clarified, saying, “I’m here in Gqeberha and he’s in Johannesburg, but it’s vital to constantly remember that I’m here for him and that I’m a father who can provide for him.
“I try to take Landdle to his swimming classes whenever I can because he loves to swim. Even with his infant language, we enjoy singing together.
Ndlovu Duma
The renowned producer and playwright acknowledged that juggling fatherhood and his demanding job has been difficult.
But I have always prioritised making time specifically for my kids,” he continued. Every time we get together, we eat together and joke.
“I enjoy doing things with my family and kids when I’m not working, including family nights, weekend road trips to the villages, and storytelling. I treasure our relationship and these special moments we have together.
